THE OUTSIDER

Walking up river's shore
down a long path
feeling scared,like prey
just a gazelle in a terrifying world.
The lions are waiting for me in a circle
In their decorated den.
Holding each others' golden paws,
Strongly growls coming from their huge ruby jaws
I felt terrified seeing them
Trying to devour the monkey inside the circle,
My heart raced when they invited me to their feast.
Feeling lost in the forest
Frantically trying to find my way out
But just couldn't find it.
Started running, looking back over
My tail
Scared they were following me.
When I felt fresh air,
I knew I was free.
Other gazelle waited outside.
I felt to be amongst gazelle again.
